Why did you get into the industry?
I got into the industry because… well first of all, I know I am beautiful! And then I wanted to show that Bolivians exist and that there is more to us.
What was your first gig or experience in the industry?
My first experience was when I was in this music video with Jules Santana—that was like 7 years ago— his video “I’m in the Club” was my first big move in the industry!
Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
In the next few years I plan on opening up my very own nail salon. This has been a dream of mine for a long time… I am going to be a Boss!
What do you like about the industry?
The thing I like about the industry is the money because I get paid when I go to a photo shoot I get paid when I go to a music video I think it’s fun to paid for doing things I love doing anyway!
What don’t you like about the industry?
People think model, video vixens are like Ho’s and we are not, like a lot of us just like the work. I didn’t get anything “the easy way”. I don’t like that a lot of people think we’re Ho’s and we are not.
What advice would you give an up and coming model that you wish someone gave my you?
Work hard and have fun working, try not to go “the easy way”. Working hard is key don’t get caught up trying to get things by doing things you shouldn’t do!
Who is your fave model or #WCW?
My favorite model will always be Lia Cha! She was one of the first people I went to for advice because I always wanted to be like her. And it made me so happy to finally talk to her, I have always looked up to her. She was so cool and gave me some tips about what I should do and what to expect… that’s why I love her so much.
Have you been published? if so, when/where?
I have been published in a lot of magazines in all my years modeling magazines like Smooth Magazine, Hips On Deck, ShyGirl, Straight Stuntin’. I have been in Straight Stuntin’ like 20 times! Now, I am here for ShotsWeekly… I really have done a lot of magazines.
What major bookings have you done?
One of my biggest and most fun gigs I did was a video in Atlanta with Young Jeezy “All White Everything”. It paid good and it was a great song! When I see that video I’m like the main model and I love it!
Your photos look amazing, what’s your secret… can you share some tips?
Favorite Beauty Tip: Every time I wash rice I save the water and always wash my face with it. So that helps to keep my skin so beautiful.
Favorite Fitness Tip: Run, a lot!
Modeling Tip: Always make sure your make-up is right and your hair too!
One of our goals at ShotsWeekly is to elevate Glamour and Eye-Candy Models, so how do you feel you’re empowering yourself and others?
Just by working hard… because everything I have gotten was because I have done it for myself! Whatever you want and whatever you dream of you just got to go for it and do it for yourself cause nobody else is going to do it for you.
What would say to those that feel this industry objectifies and takes advantage of women?
I don’t believe the industry takes advantage of models or me because, personally, I know I am beautiful and confident… and I don’t feel used. I know whatever I do will be beautiful… and I am getting paid to do a job. I always feel comfortable with what I do and everything I do is respectful and on my terms!
Also being Bolivian is a big deal! I’m representing a lot… everywhere I go everybody is like “I have never met a Bolivian model before.” I am the only one in the industry, that I know of.
Since this is the New Year, what are your resolutions?
Eat healthy, exercise, and start building up my nail salon business.
Any interesting you’d like to tell your fans?
I appreciate all the support throughout the years and thank you so much for buying all my magazines!
