By shotbyjason @Shotbyjason · On February 17, 2016

A certain synergy happened this month at ShotsWeekly.com, a certain oneness on the astral plane of the cosmos. The Queen B (Beyoncé) decided to use the Super Bowl stage to present a creative interpretation of the challenges facing Black America in celebration of Black History Month. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world we released our tribute and creative interpretation of Black History expressed through our cover. The themes were similar, a celebration of Black feminine power through a characterization of the Black Panther Party movement.

Linking us to the historic Super Bowl performance is none other than the lovely and talented Miss Ksyn, our February cover model and one of Beyoncé’s dancers. And now standing on the shoulders of giants Assata Shakur, Kathleen Cleaver, Angela Davis, and Elaine Brown we look to the future and get into Formation for this week’s #WCW, Beyoncé.

What happened after New Orleans?
Bitch, I’m back by popular demand

Y’all haters corny with that illuminati mess
Paparazzi, catch my fly, and my cocky fresh
I’m so reckless when I rock my Givenchy dress (stylin’)
I’m so possessive so I rock his Roc necklaces
My daddy Alabama, Momma Louisiana
You mix that negro with that Creole make a Texas bamma
I like my baby hair, with baby hair and afros
I like my negro nose with Jackson Five nostrils
Earned all this money but they never take the country out me
I got hot sauce in my bag, swag

Oh yeah baby, oh yeah I, oh, oh yes I like that
I did not come to play with you hoes
I came to slay, bitch
I like cornbreads and collard greens, bitch
Oh yes, you best to believe it

Y’all haters corny with that illuminati mess
Paparazzi, catch my fly, and my cocky fresh
I’m so reckless when I rock my Givenchy dress (stylin’)

I see it, I want it
I stunt, yeah, little hornet
I dream it, I work hard
I grind ’til I own it
I twirl on them haters
Albino alligators
El Camino with the seat low
Sippin’ Cuervo with no chaser
Sometimes I go off, I go off
I go hard, I go hard
Get what’s mine, take what’s mine
I’m a star, I’m a star
‘Cause I slay, slay
I slay, hey, I slay, okay
