COUGARS, PUMAS AND CUBS
With all this wildlife going on, how does a girl keep up?! Dating younger, dating older, which do you prefer? I have always been a “lion” girl myself but there are women out there who prefer their “cats” a bit younger! For definition purposes, Cougars are women over 40 who dates younger men and a Puma is a woman in her 30’s that does the same! Cubs are self explanatory! See, it has always fascinated me when women play in the kiddie pool! I personally have always dated men five to ten years older than myself. I’ve always liked my men mature in emotion and thought, not to mention I love the gentleman aspect that a lot of older men have. Opening the car door, helping you with your coat, walking with you on the inside. Yeah, this is old fashioned, but I love it and think it says a lot about the man! I have numerous friends and family that have dated younger men and quite frankly they’ve all been disastrous. In the beginning everything is great, but as time goes on you start seeing these relationships slowly turning into this weird mother/son type of sexual relationship! She’s buying him clothes, giving him money, he’s borrowing her car and he’s playing XBOX! What kind of shit is this? I don’t get it! But wait, I DO get that he’s rocking that ass for 3-4 hours! A pop! I am in awe of the dirty and nasty all nite sessions that “cubs” are bringing to the bedroom! As much as we women love sex, especially as we get older, now all this mothering makes some sense! See, we ladies towards our late 30’s and 40’s really start to reach our sexual peak and men reach their peak much younger! When you combine the 2 you get FIYAH!

All women love and appreciate a man that can put in Energizer Bunny work! So for the “cubs” I’m showing love for that! But, is it really enough? Doesn’t a man have to stimulate you mentally as much as sexually? See, I’m a 70’s baby. If I’m talking about a particular Woody Woodpecker episode that cracked me up, can he even relate? Or if I’m talking about Curtis Mayfield’s Freddie’s Dead, does he think I’m talking about an uncle of mine?! We have to be able to relate and get down “upstairs” as much as “downstairs!” Believe me, I have seen where women fall so hard and say they’re in love and vice versa. What about the subject of kids? There are so many “issues” with this type of relationship! I say if you’re single and having fun, why not? But, a long lasting union? Probably not! In essence, we all need relationships with room to grow and a place of common ground that goes above and beyond the physical! When we think or feel that things are not so important because we’re so happy right now, eventually the real work will definitely rear it’s head!
I guess I’m just an old head at heart! So, give me the 45”! Give me the crates, give me the Flintstones, give me Soul Train! And give me my man with some gray! LOL!
