The Sausage Movement? Is this a real thing, well according to the information, yes!? Lil Mama released her contribution to the “Sausage Movement” in the form of her new video “Sausage”. Lil Mama was taking much heat for the release of the video not only because people didn’t like it but also because of her dealing with the originator of the movement Matthew Belamy aka Big_Mac_75 on the IG of NorthWestern High School, Miami. Matthew alleges that he was in talks to little mama to appear in the video. However Lil Mama assisant informed Matthew that they did not have the “$207” in the budget to fly him to New York for the filming of the video. Fast Forward to Friday with Lil Mama in a release of a well produce video, dance choreography, wardrobe, video production, hair, make up and lip gloss! It’s easy to see why Matthew and others we’re so heated. Controversy aside Lil Mama has produced a pretty cool little throwback video. She pays homage not only to “Big Mac (for starting the Sausage Movement) but Slick Rick, Teena Marie, ATown, Big Sean, Method Man, Doug E. Fresh, Lil Vicious, and she does a great Mary J Blige. From all the dancing, throw lyrics, being on the block, the Mary J bobbing and hell even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle coat takes you back. But put it in perspective with the controversy kind of pushes all the love and homage into the zone of a non-original flat song. But it still has a catchy hook, thanks Big Mac!
