As I was watching and editing some photos I heard one of the golden rules “know where your light is!” For a beginners is crucial to know where your light is and to face it with the plane of your face and let the photographer direct you from there. When coming on to set this is one of the first things you should do, find the light! The main light is usually somewhere right in front of you. If you are unsure ask ” where is the main light? Then you should always be cheating the plane of your face to that light. Modeling 101 know where your light is.
