If you were to ask me , “what’s your favorite Prince song”, I honestly can’t tell you! There’re so many, I use to always listen to the whole Purple Rain album and loving each and every song from it “When doves cry” to “Purple Rain” and then he has so many other albums too. I was working when I heard the news about Prince’s death. It’s kind of sad but we will always have his music! So, is it was awesome to hear that I had booked a tribute cover gig for him. Working with ShotsWeekly.com was great, I had a lots of fun and laughs!

Hands down my favorite song by prince has got to be “Kiss”. I was on social media when I found out Prince passed away and it made me realize life is so short and precious and anything can happen at any time. I want to live my life to the fullest and experience the most. We lost some legends over the past few years however the impact they left on the music industry will live on forever. This photo shoot was awesome, I think everyone will enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed creating them. It is an honor to be able to represent such a legend and to work with an amazing group of people. Thank you to everyone who came together to make something epic.

[…] Prince met Sheila E. at a concert in 1978, when she was performing with her father. After the show he met her and told her that he and his bassist “were just fighting about which one of us would be the first to be your husband.” He also vowed that one day she would join his band. The two would eventually join forces during the Purple Rain recording sessions. She provided vocals on the B-side to “Let’s Go Crazy”, “Erotic City” in 1984. Though taken under Prince’s wing, she proved to be a successful artist in her own right. In 1984 she scored hits with “The Glamorous Life” (#7 on the Hot 100), which also topped the dance charts for two weeks in August 1984. The video for the song would bring three MTV Award nominations for Best Female Video, Best New Artist and Best Choreography. She also received two Grammy Awards Nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Performance Female. Her second release “The Belle of St. Mark” (#34), would be NME ‘Single of the Week’.
